Terms of Service

Last updated: January 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Ziggy ("Ziggy", "we", "us", or "our"), a Slack-based service that helps create Jira tickets from Slack conversations.

By installing, accessing, or using Ziggy, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. The Service

Ziggy is a Slack agent that assists users in creating and managing Jira tickets based on user-triggered Slack interactions.

Ziggy is provided on a best-effort basis and is currently offered as an alpha/beta service. Features may change, be modified, or be discontinued at any time.

Ziggy does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or correctness of any Jira tickets, content, or outputs it generates.

2. Use of the Service

You may use Ziggy only for lawful business purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for unlawful, harmful, or abusive activities
  • Abuse or exceed Slack or Atlassian API usage limits
  • Reverse engineer, copy, or attempt to extract the source code or underlying models
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure

You are responsible for all actions taken through your Slack or Jira accounts.

3. User Content & Data Ownership

You retain ownership of all content and data originating from your Slack workspace or Jira instance.

By using Ziggy, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process this data solely for the purpose of providing the service.

Ziggy does not store Slack or Jira message content. The system only processes data when triggered and retains only minimal technical identifiers (such as Slack workspace ID or Jira installation ID) required to operate the service.

4. AI-Generated Output

Ziggy uses third-party AI services to generate outputs based on user input.

AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or incorrect. You are solely responsible for reviewing, validating, and approving any Jira tickets or actions created by Ziggy before relying on them.

Ziggy does not use customer data to train AI models, and prompts or AI outputs are not stored by the platform.

5. Payments & Billing

Certain features of Ziggy may require payment. Pricing, billing cycles, and plans will be disclosed prior to charging.

Unless explicitly stated otherwise:

  • All fees are non-refundable
  • We do not provide credits or refunds for partial periods, unused usage, or downgrades
  • Payments are processed by third-party providers. Ziggy does not store or process credit card information.

6. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Ziggy, with reasonable notice when practicable, if:

  • You violate these Terms
  • Your use poses a risk to the service, other users, or third parties
  • Required by law or platform providers (e.g. Slack or Atlassian)

You may stop using Ziggy at any time by uninstalling the app.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

Ziggy is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

We do not warrant that:

  • The service will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • Outputs will be accurate or reliable
  • The service will meet your specific requirements

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

Ziggy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to:

  • Lost profits
  • Business interruption
  • Loss or corruption of data

This applies even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

In no event shall Ziggy have any liability arising from your use of the service.

9. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Ziggy after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
